KNOXVILLE, Tenn., April 28 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Tennessee Valley Authority was notified around 9 a.m. EDT on Wednesday, April 28, 2010, that a 60 to 70 foot section of the flume at Table Saw rapid below Ocoee No. 2 Dam was destroyed by a rock slide. There were no injuries, and Highway 64 was not impacted by the incident. TVA shut off the water going through the flume at 9 a.m. EDT. The flume carries water to two generating units at Ocoee Powerhouse No. 2, which produce 23 megawatts.
