Oce Business Services and Client PNC Bank Win 'Best Communication' Award at the 14th Annual Outsourcing Excellence Awards
NEW YORK, June 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Oce Business Services, a leader in document process management services and technology, today announced that Outsourcing Center has presented Oce and its client PNC Bank with the "Best Communication" Award at the 14th Annual Outsourcing Excellence Awards. Awards were presented in seven categories at a black tie dinner held June 8th at the Adolphus Hotel in Dallas.
Outsourcing Center conducts the annual awards program and is an online community specializing in thought leadership, best practices, and innovation in outsourcing. Everest Group, a global consulting and research firm that comprehensively serves the sourcing market, is a sponsor of Outsourcing Center's Outsourcing Excellence Awards program, which annually recognizes the world's best outsourcing arrangements. An independent panel of industry judges selects relationships that demonstrate best practices, create and sustain a competitive advantage, provide business transformation, achieve value, and benefit both client and service provider over time.
The "Best Communication" Award acknowledges an outsourcing relationship where both parties communicate effectively, enabling them to work collaboratively to resolve issues, take advantage of opportunities, and ensure their interests remain aligned.
"The entries this year included some truly impressive stories of quality and productivity increases being achieved simultaneously with cost savings," said Ed Davis, professor at Dardin School of Business and awards judge. "The bar continues to be raised in this competition, which makes selection of the winners more challenging."
Members of the judging panel also include Rod Bourgeois, senior research analyst - Technology Services, Sanford C. Bernstein & Co., LLC; John A. Funk, partner, Morgan Lewis & Bockius LLP; Russ Taruscio, retired FC&A procurement director, BP America Inc.; Dawn Evans, president and chief executive officer, Sourcing Interests Group; Ed Davis, Oliver Wight professor, Darden School of Business, University of Virginia and Peter Bendor-Samuel, chief executive officer of Everest Group.
In addition to receiving an Outsourcing Excellence Award, Oce Business Services was also recently named to the top-ranked Leaders Category of the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals' (IAOP) 2010 Global Outsourcing 100 list. This is the fourth straight year in which Oce has been ranked a Leader on The Global Outsourcing 100.
