HOLLYWOOD, Calif., April 26, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, the world's best-selling, multi-artist album series, NOW That's What I Call Music!, has released a new digital collection of 80 smash hits from the 1980s, exclusively on the iTunes Store® (www.itunes.com). NOW That's What I Call The 80s Hits (Deluxe Edition) gathers 80 major hits for one decade-defining collection.

The tracklist for NOW 80s Hits Deluxe features the biggest superstars of the '80s, with Billy Idol, Cyndi Lauper, Pat Benatar, Phil Collins, Daryl Hall & John Oates, Blondie, The Bangles, Tears For Fears, Lionel Richie, INXS, Chaka Khan, and many more. This new collection follows the ultra successful NOW That's What I Call The 80s (Deluxe Edition), also available exclusively on iTunes.
The NOW series is celebrating U.S. sales totaling more than 80 million CDs and album downloads since the series made its Stateside debut in 1998. In February, the series' most recent release, NOW 37, debuted at #1 on Billboard's Top 200 Albums chart.
NOW's latest numbered edition, NOW That's What I Call Music! Vol. 38, featuring 16 current major chart hits, plus four up-and-coming "NOW What's Next" New Music Preview tracks, will be released on CD and digitally on May 3. On the same date, the standard edition of NOW That's What I Call The 80s Hits will be released on CD and digitally, with 18 smash hits from the 1980s.
The NOW That's What I Call Music! series is a joint venture from EMI Music North America, Sony Music Entertainment, and Universal Music Group. NOW That's What I Call Music! The NOW That's What I Call Music! series debuted in the U.S. in 1998 after the brand had been a multi-platinum international success for 15 years.
