November BMA-Minnesota Event Challenges Attendees to Take 'NO' Out of Business Innovation
MINNEAPOLIS, Oct. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- There are many reasons innovation doesn't happen successfully in businesses. Sometimes it's because there's NO orientation or mandate to innovate. In other cases, there are NO perceived capabilities in place or NO processes for innovation. On November 4, 2010, the Minnesota chapter of the Business Marketing Association (BMA-Minnesota) will explore how to remove roadblocks that hold back an organization.
Led by Mike Brown, strategist at The Brainzooming Group and author of the ebook Taking the NO Out of InNOvation, the session will offer insights on how to drive innovation in the B2B space.
"The inability to solve problems and capture opportunities in new ways can hold back any organization," said Brown, "And unfortunately, failing to adopt an innovative approach in today's business environment can lead to long-term challenges. My goal is to empower marketing professionals with the strategies that liberate business innovation from a default culture of 'no.'"
Expanding on the insight shared in his ebook, the presentation will be a guide to:
- Breaking through some of the most common NO's that block innovation
- How to identify the characteristics that create each of these situations
- Strategies to open up new possibilities to improve successes amid innovation challenges
The event will be held on Thursday, November 4, 2010, at the Metropolitan Ballroom in Golden Valley, Minn. Registration and breakfast will begin at 7:30 a.m., followed by the program from 8 to 9 a.m. A members-only networking event will follow immediately from 9 to 9:30 a.m.
The cost of the event is $30 for BMA members and $45 for non-members. Attendees can register online at www.bmaminnesota.org through November 1, 2010. There will be a limited number of walk-up registrations are available.
