SEATTLE, June 18 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Seattle-based Nordstrom, Inc. (NYSE: JWN) has announced plans to open its first Nordstrom Rack in Annapolis, Md. at Annapolis Harbour Center. The 32,230 square-foot store is expected to open in spring 2011.
The Rack is the off-price retail division of Nordstrom, and carries merchandise from Nordstrom stores and Nordstrom.com at 50-60% off original Nordstrom prices. Nordstrom Rack also offers a wide selection of apparel, accessories and shoes from many of the brands carried in Nordstrom stores and purchased specially for Nordstrom Rack, with most at savings of 30-70% off.
The new store will be located next to Office Depot at Annapolis Harbour Center. Rockville, Md.-based Lerner Enterprises is the developer for Annapolis Harbour Center. When it opens, the Annapolis Rack will join seven other Racks serving the greater Baltimore-Washington area. The company also operates seven full-line Nordstrom stores in the area, including the Nordstrom Annapolis Mall store.
