LINCOLN, Neb., Feb. 14, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Nobl announced today that it has hired Dr. Teresa Anderson, EdD, MSN, RN, NE-BC as its new Chief Nursing Officer. Anderson's 35 years of nursing experience combined with her academic and publishing success makes her a valuable addition to Nobl's leadership team.

Throughout her 35 year nursing career, Dr. Anderson has held positions in performance improvement, quality, advanced practice, academia, and hospital leadership. More recently, Dr. Anderson has served as an educator and consultant for the ANA Nursing Knowledge Center, assisting hospitals to achieve Magnet Recognition Program® success.

Dr. Anderson is a proud member of several nursing professional organizations, including the American Organization of Nurse Executives, the American Nurses Association, Nebraska Nurses Association, Nebraska Organization of Nurse Leaders, and Sigma Theta Tau International.
Dr. Anderson received her undergraduate and master's degrees in nursing from the University of Nebraska Medical Center and her doctorate from the College of Saint Mary, in Omaha. She was recently honored with the Distinguished Alumnus Award from UNMC College of Nursing in 2016.
