NIKA Awarded Multimillion Dollar AFMSA Facilities Support Contract

ROCKVILLE, Md., Dec. 15, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- NIKA, a global provider of architecture, engineering, facilities and operations and maintenance solutions to government, was recently awarded a multimillion dollar contract to provide engineering operations support, DMLSS sustainment support, and project management services to the Air Force Medical Support Agency (AFMSA) across 73 locations worldwide. This project represents the largest contract awarded to NIKA in the firm's 19-year history.

NIKA will support AFMSA's Health Facilities Division by delivering support for planning, programming and executing cost-effective operation and maintenance-funded construction projects and maintenance and repair projects of medical facilities. In addition, NIKA will provide technical and functional design guidance for major building systems, support all financial and budget aspects of SRM (sustainment, restoration and modernization) projects, analyze and evaluate SRM maintenance contracts and construction.
