Next Level Trainings leadership group raises $176,107 in 35 days for the homeless in Central Ohio
COLUMBUS, Ohio, Dec. 7, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- The 18th leadership class of Next Level Trainings, comprised of 50 people, put together a spontaneous but intentional fundraising campaign to support LSS Faith Mission. The non-profit provides shelter, employment readiness, health care, case management, and veterans services to people experiencing or in danger of experiencing homelessness. Additionally, LSS Faith Mission provides three meals a day, every day of the year to anyone that is hungry. As part of its transformational curriculum, the class of leaders, committed to raise $162,000. The team raised $176,107.

Along with supporting LSS Faith Mission in fundraising, participants in Next Level Trainings:
- Painted and renovated the main dining area of LSS Faith Mission on November 10th. All supplies were donated.
- Held a tailgate fundraiser on November 24th at Dance Tonight Columbus with over 160 attendees and raised $8,000 in ticket sales and donations.
- The LeVeque Tower was lit up on November 28th and 29th for LSS Faith Mission. This was a great honor as the tower only changes its lights six to eight times a year.
- Sourced over 6000 tangible goods including sheets, towels, toiletries and many other tangible items.
- Delivered a brand new Hobart Edge 12 Meat Slicer, valued at 2,000, with the combined efforts of Brad and Rodney Wasserstrom, The Hobart Company, Archie And Duncan Griffin, and Eric Clark on November 30th along with the other tangible goods.
