NexStreaming Inks Deal with ZTE to Supply "NexEditor SDK"
SEOUL, South Korea, Aug. 15, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- NexStreaming (139670.KQ), a mobile multimedia software company, announced that it has signed a licensing contract with ZTE, a Chinese smartphone manufacturer, to supply "NexEditor SDK", a video editing solution, and its companion Asset Store App, "TimeStory-AssetStore" on ZTE MiFavor UI 5.0, which allows users to download and use assets exclusive for video editing, for ZTE smartphones.
A new feature, called "TimeStory", was introduced in MiFavor UI 5.0, the latest UI platform of ZTE. TimeStory is an automatic video creation feature that creates movie-like videos by automatically classifying images and videos in the Gallery and this feature is powered by the "Template" technology of NexEditor SDK. Such story-based video creation has been introduced competitively these days by global smartphone leaders, such as Samsung, Apple and Huawei, and is positioning itself as a must-have feature in smartphones.
TimeStory lets even novice users create high quality, stylish videos simply by choosing a template, which applies filters and transition effects that are best matches for user-selected photos and videos automatically. Additionally, users can download additional templates through "TimeStory-AssetStore" app anytime and create fun and exciting videos by selecting templates tailored to their taste or editing theme.
ZTE smartphone users can start using "TimeStory-AssetStore" app immediately on ZTE MiFavor UI 5.0, without having to manually install the app. TimeStory-Asset Store app is preloaded on ZTE smartphones when shipped so it will come up in TimeStory right after purchasing ZTE smartphones or upgrading the firmware to MiFavor UI 5.0. New assets including templates will continuously be added and new features or enhancements will be available for updates through Google Play.
Another benefit to ZTE smartphone users is KineMaster, NexStreaming's professional video editor app, which is directly linked from TimeStory screen. With just a single touch, ZTE smartphone users can transfer any images or videos in a TimeStory to KineMaster and continue editing to create fine-tuned and more elaborate video footages. KineMaster is the most successful professional video editor app for Android users and an iPhone version has also been released recently.
Jaewoo Kim, Head of the Video Editing Business Division at NexStreaming, said, "The collaboration with ZTE is extremely significant in providing the content for consumers, beyond providing a software solution." He also said, "We are stepping up our efforts to secure partnerships with more design houses and content providers, and will soon introduce high quality premium assets as well as advertising for monetization."
Meanwhile, NexEditor SDK is a video editing solution that integrates NexStreaming's mobile multimedia technology and expertise over 15 years. NexEditor SDK has already been selected by major smartphone manufacturers like LG, Xiaomi, Gionee, Transsion and Tinno Mobile to power up video editing features in their smartphones and offers not only a template function, but also a range of video editing features such as trimming, reverse, voice modulation, filters, templates, text effects, stickers, background music and transition effects. Moreover, an Asset Store app also comes with NexEditor SDK to flourish new assets continuously to enhance user experience.
In addition to smartphone manufacturers, NexEditor SDK is available for use to any service providers or mobile apps dealing with images and videos as a service component, such as video services, games or live streamlining, and it supports both Android and iOS platforms.
