Study reaffirms consistent consumer satisfaction with Nexen Tire products
SEOUL, South Korea, April 16, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Nexen Tire, a leading global tire manufacturer, announced that the company ranked fourth out of 12 tire brands in the Passenger Car segment of the 2017 J.D. Power Original Equipment Tire Customer Satisfaction Study. The company also ranked fourth last year, marking two consecutive years on the prestigious list.

J.D. Power is a global marketing information services company, which is especially well known for its customer satisfaction survey on new-car quality. The 2017 U.S. Original Equipment Tire Customer Satisfaction Study, fielded between October and December 2016, is based on owner experiences with their tires after two years of vehicle ownership. In the study, satisfaction is examined in four measures: Tire Wear; Tire Ride; Tire Appearance; and Tire Traction/Handling. Among these, Nexen Tire ranked second in the passenger car segment in 'Tire Wear,' which is considered to have the biggest impact on satisfaction among the four factors (683 on a 1,000-point scale).
