Baseline versions of SAP Business All-in-One solutions handle core enterprise resource planning (ERP) processes for small and midsize enterprises (SMEs), offering fully pre-configured options including required country localizations. Due to the modular design of the software, many packages can be extended with selected industry or cross-industry packages.
"With this release, our partners and customers around the globe can leverage the power of SAP HANA delivered with the proven industry best practices of SAP Business All-in-One," said Bobby Vetter, senior vice president, Partner Solution Management and Enablement, SAP. "Industry extensions on enhancement package 7 will extend to industries like chemicals and discrete manufacturing, helping our partners further customize these offerings."
Recently positioned by Gartner, Inc. in the Leaders quadrant of the "Magic Quadrant for Single-Instance ERP for Product-Centric Midmarket Companies,"i the SAP portfolio of solutions for SMEs, including SAP Business All-in-One, enables partners to provide extended solutions to fit a variety of unique customer needs.
"When we initially sat down with our customer to discuss their IT landscape, we quickly realized that its business relied on three different databases to run separate solutions — one for ERP, another for BI and a third for budget planning," said Fabricio Oliveira, solutions director, Grupo Trust. "Not only was this cost-intensive for the customer, it also created a subsequent need to create new load routines and direct movement between the databases. To alleviate these issues, we have designed an integrated solution running on SAP HANA. By providing the customer with a single and central database to function for their three solutions, powered by SAP HANA, our client's entire IT landscape is simplified."
SAP Business All-in-One is comprised of industry-specific solutions for midsize or fast-growing small and midsize companies, supporting integrated processes that cover the complete business life cycle. The solutions run on SAP HANA as well as SAP® Sybase® Adaptive Server® Enterprise and other approved databases, and are deployed both on premise and through a private cloud offering. There are currently more than 24,200 SAP Business All-in-One customers in more than 55 countries, and the solutions are available from partners that deliver more than 500 qualified SAP Business All-in-One partner solutions. SAP is committed to a broad array of mobile, cloud and analytics offerings.
