Nestled in the heart of Times Square, the Sanctuary Hotel's prime location offers its guests ease and convenience to the many sights and sounds the Big Apple has to offer packaged in a luxurious, serene getaway. The hotel's state-of-the-art amenities such as 32- and 42-inch plasma televisions and iPod docking stations in every room further entice and engage visitors. The property's bespoke design is being lead by ICRAVE, the innovative team behind such projects as the W Atlanta - Midtown, Jet Blue terminal at JFK airport, STK restaurant in New York and Miami and Abe Arthurs in New York.  The firm's creative use of vivid color accents, chic and unique design elements and custom-made fabrics, transform the Sanctuary Hotel into an exclusive destination for visitors and guests.

The team's inspiration behind the hotel's inviting lobby was the allure and comfort of a private living room, offering intimate conversation nooks that invite guests to linger and leisure.  The deep brown and cognac color palette is brought to life through lush fabrics and textures, off set by lavish terrazzo tile with brown glass chips and custom-designed carpets. The room is peppered with colorful details from the warm yellow leather pillows on the couches to the deep orange leather wall panels that surround the elevator bank and adorn guestroom hallways.  Visitors are greeted by a glowing fireplace set with tiger skin travertine tiles, while the illuminated glass floor guides guests to the elegant lobby bar crafted of honey onyx, terrazzo tile and brass blinds. Speckled throughout the lobby and lounge is a collection of one-of-a-kind artwork showcasing the property's premier Times Square location.

The room accommodations are luxurious and airy, featuring dramatic textured burnt orange leather trim headboards and plush beds dressed with fine European linens.  The unique open bathroom design features rain showerheads, leather print tiles, quarried marble and a cream leather curtain providing a tranquil yet intimate ambiance.  

Originally built in the early 1900s, the hotel's intricate architectural facade will be elegantly updated with a modern edge yet still preserves the grandeur of an older era. Unique glass awnings help to create an exclusive feel to the property, while opaque glass block windows will softly illuminate into the street.

The Sanctuary Hotel debut is scheduled for December 2010.
