New startup, Allurice AIR, brings Technology to Makeup Industry
Product Air ONE will launch on Kickstarter September 19.
GAHANNA, Ohio, Sept. 16, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- On September 19, Allurice AIR will officially launch a Kickstarter campaign for their product, the Air ONE, which could drastically alter the way women use makeup. The Air ONE is our own unique tool to apply makeup to the face and skin. Allurice has been in the prototype stage on this project for nearly a year, but this Saturday at Panera Bread in Gahanna, OH we are excited to finally unveil the Air ONE. This is the first example of technology being introduced to the makeup application world, and we hope a groundbreaking set of new tools will emerge to save women time in their daily routine, give ordinary women access to model quality looks, and further the advancement of technology into the world.

The Air ONE was designed to save time, and money for the user. Its base is a typical airbrush unit, but we added loads of features and a complete redesign that is not only appealing to the eye, but the curved figure fits perfectly into the hand as well. The different settings on the switch and the different heads allow you to adjust the gun to any application including eyebrows, lipstick, foundation, and about anything else. The makeup comes out in dots to mimic the way an HD camera takes pictures and further the natural look women have been aiming for. To shave down the current cost we used mostly plastic parts, and will assemble our product in house. This will allow us to deliver not only the most technical makeup applicator, but at an affordable price for the average user once we begin production.
Throughout our Kickstarter campaign we will be attempting to raise $15,000 by pre- selling nearly 200 units. The funds from the campaign will be used to pay the high tooling cost to mold our plastic components and also to further develop our website. The campaign will be our first attempt to "test the waters" on how customers will react to adding this type of technology in their makeup routine. We will also be hosting a live demonstration at 4965 N Hamilton Rd, Columbus, OH on launch day to show our local customers exactly what to expect from Allurice.
Our company was founded on the idea to create and deliver the latest in makeup technology to everyone. We are technology pioneers into a once baron industry and the doors are wide open for us to move forward. Our founder Jason Maynard had this to say "I walked into Sephora and thought, this isn't right, where are all the high tech makeup gadgets?" The idea was simple enough and we have the product to back up our talk. Although we are now unveiling our first product we are already hard at work testing features for a sequel model and much more tech.
