Celebrate Silver Dollar City's 50th Year on New Ride
BRANSON, Mo., May 27 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Live Music Show Capital of America, Branson shines bright all summer long with 50 theaters offering more than 100 live shows featuring family entertainment at its best. Celebrating its 50th Birthday all year, Silver Dollar City presents KidsFest, June 5-August 8, showcasing the new $7 million ride adventure Tom & Huck's RiverBlast, America's Biggest Water Battle, a super-soaking water raft ride themed around the adventures of Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn. Raft riders with water soakers battle raft-to-raft and raft-to-shore, dodging streams of water from sharpshooters ashore. KidsFest also features kid-favorite entertainment from a new stunt dog show to the Magic of Peter Gossamer. The Legend of Kung Fu, with a cast of over 50 performers and a designated show of the Beijing Olympics, debuts in Branson at The White House Theatre. The production showcases the ancient art of Kung Fu in a theatrical setting, combining music, dance, martial arts and acrobatics.
