New Oriental Announces Xun Cheng's Listing Application for the National Equities Exchange and Quotations in China
BEIJING, July 28, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- New Oriental Education and Technology Group Inc. (the "Company" or "New Oriental") (NYSE: EDU), the largest provider of private educational services in China, today announced that Beijing New Oriental Xuncheng Network Technology Co., Ltd. ("Xun Cheng"), which operates the Company's online education platform, Koolearn.com, has submitted an application for the listing and open transfer of the shares of Xun Cheng on the National Equities Exchange and Quotations (the "NEEQ") in the PRC. The listing application is subject to review and approval of authorities. New Oriental plans to continue to consolidate the financial results of Xun Cheng after the listing.
