New Low-Latency Direct Access Service for Dual-site Servers in Switzerland and Russia
ZURICH, BERNE, Switzerland and MOSCOW, August 4, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --
IXcellerate, IX Swiss and IP-Max SA are proud to announce a joint venture co-operation for the supplying of full solution data protection services between the Russian and Swiss markets.
With IXcellerate's Tier3 datacenter in Moscow, and the datacenters of IX Swiss AG in Zurich and Berne, customers are offered blended solutions that cover all data security, location, storage and transport concerns.
The two datacenter companies are working in co-operation with Geneva based ISP IP-Max SA, already connected to Moscow and supporting companies with its very low latency backbone. IXcellerate is able to provide direct access into a pipeline to Switzerland and the IX Swiss datacenters, also connected to the IP-Max Backbone.
As a Swiss registered company, IX Swiss services are covered by the stringent data protection laws of the Swiss Confederation. The laws ensure confidentiality of any data stored by companies and individuals within the Swiss borders. This offers the highest legal protection of data anywhere in Europe. IXcellerate's location within the Russian Federation ideally meets the needs for organisations to comply with the new Russian Federation Laws on data protection. The combination of the two locations provides for the needs of some of the world's most data-sensitive companies.
IP-Max, also a Swiss company, with a 10Gbps redundant network within Switzerland and its European backbone ring linking major cities, has the ability to offer fully encrypted connectivity between the data centres of IXcellerate in Moscow and the IX Swiss locations. With encryption expertise and state of the art equipment being employed to ensure the highest level of security, the data carried is only accessible in the countries where business is being carried out. This product is intended to protect financial and business critical data from external abuse, managing it within a truly protected environment.
This venture offers a unique and exciting package of services that ensures secure business continuity, inside and between the Russian and Swiss marketplaces.
