New Executive HD Video Conferencing Endpoint from Spire Global and Sony Video Conferencing

VAN NUYS, Calif., June 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Spire Global is introducing a streamlined 1080/60i small form-factor camera to complement Sony's high horsepower PCS-XG80 and best-in-class PCS-XG55 video conferencing endpoints.  

The combination delivers Sony-quality HD video conferencing in a design well-suited for personal video conferencing and small meeting environments with two to three people.  

The camera, designed using Sony's stunning HD camera technology, includes a built-in microphone enabling clear, natural audio while also delivering sharp, crisp images.

The SG-TL80 is capable of full 1080/60i video at speeds up to 10MB as a standard feature.  The system can host a six-site multipoint call, transcoding IP and ISDN.  Both the SG-TL80 and SG-TL55 offer built-in recording capabilities as well as unicast and multicast streaming, whether the system is in a video conference or not.

The SG-TL80 lists for $8,999, and the SG-TL55 lists for $5,999.  The products are available exclusively through Spire Global and its Sony Video Conferencing reseller partners.
