New Era CEO Sally Kennedy Named to Top Post at Publicis Dallas
Kennedy Brings 25 Years of Multidisciplinary, Integrated Marketing Experience, Plus Top New Business Track Record, to Dallas Market
DALLAS, Jan. 5, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Sally Kennedy has been named CEO of Publicis Dallas, reporting to Susan Gianinno, chairman & CEO, Publicis Worldwide in the USA. Most recently Ms. Kennedy was president of Cossette in New York, where she oversaw all operations, including office management, client relationships and business development. Prior to joining Cossette, Ms. Kennedy served as chief marketing officer for Y&R North America, where she was responsible for the strategy and execution of all marketing and business development efforts in the U.S. Before her move to the Y&R New York office, Ms. Kennedy spent six years at Y&R San Francisco as senior vice president, managing business development across the Y&R and Wunderman operations, and was an integral part of the winning team that added many new clients to the agency roster.

Ms. Kennedy brings over 25 years of multidisciplinary, integrated marketing experience to Publicis. She has spent her professional life developing and executing precision business strategies for some of the world’s most famous brands, and now will turn her focus on the growing Dallas market. Ms. Kennedy began her career on the client side in the U.K., working for blue-chip clients Boots and British Telecom. She relocated to the United States in 1990.
Ms. Kennedy replaces Mark Bateman as CEO, who after 26 years decided to leave Publicis Dallas and pursue other opportunities.
