New Bothell Restaurant: Ivar's Seafood Bar Set for Summer Opening

SEATTLE, July 15, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Ivar's Restaurants "o-fish-ially" announced today it will open a new Bothell restaurant in August. The new location will be located in the Canyon Park shopping center (24016 Bothell-Everett Highway), and marks the return of Ivar's to Bothell after closing its former location in the city 3 years ago. Located at, adjacent to the Safeway in the Lakeside at Canyon Creek Shopping Center, this grand opening marks the 24^th Seafood Bar for the popular fast-casual restaurant.

"This marks the 24^th restaurant location for Ivar's, and we're excited to come back to Bothell, where we always enjoyed a supportive customer base," said Dave Fechter, director of operations for all Ivar's Seafood Bars. "Our last location in Bothell was open from 1978 to 2009, but it was closed amid the downtown revitalization construction plans. Now we are back, and look forward serving the Bothell community with our classic fish 'n chips and new menu items."

The new 2,020 square foot Seafood Bar will feature seating for 94 guests, including spots in comfortable booths, at custom tables and chairs carved with the famous Ivar's "Keep Clam" slogan, and outdoor tables complete with umbrellas. In addition, the location will feature a soup display with an array of Ivar's world-famous chowders and soups along with a fresh salad and sandwich station with hand-tossed salads and sandwiches made to order. The classic menu offerings, such as Ivar's Fish 'n Chips and Grilled Platters, will be joined by new entrees and sides such as the Grilled Salmon BLT, Crab Cake Sandwich and Grilled Fish Tacos.
