Bugas brings to this role more than 25 years of leadership experience in sales and marketing. He has directed large sales and marketing teams in the resort industry. Prior to Nemacolin, Bugas was Director of Sales and Marketing for Kalahari Resort in Pocono Manor, Pennsylvania. Under his leadership, the resort exceeded its budgeted revenue in the first two months of operations. During Bugas' tenure as Vice President of Sales at Hershey Entertainment & Resorts in Hershey, Pennsylvania, Bugas and his team generated over $100 million in total revenues for the entire complex.

Bugas is a member of the American Society of Association Executives, the Meeting Professionals International, the Professional Convention Management Association, the Pennsylvania Society of Association Executives, and the Virginia Society of Association Executives. He earned his Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts degrees at West Virginia University.
