Nautilus Hyosung recently hosted an open house and ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the grand opening of the company's Global Software Center. Montgomery County and the City of Miamisburg leadership attended the event, including Commissioner Judy Dodge and Mayor Dick Church, Jr. Both civic leaders joined Nautilus Hyosung America EVP and COO Nancy G. Daniels in cutting the oversized blue ribbon and in sharing remarks, after which event attendees toured the facility and enjoyed refreshments.
Joe Militello, Nautilus Hyosung America, VP, Global Software Center, sees the additional workspace provided by the new Global Software Center facility as essential to supporting the growing needs of the company as it seeks to continue to harness the wealth of tech talent in Montgomery County and to collaborate with local leadership of economic and educational institutions.
"Nautilus Hyosung's position as the fastest growing ATM provider in the United States aligns with leveraging the vast tech talent of Montgomery County and the surrounding area," Militello said. "Our move allows us to effectively address long-term goals and keep ahead of customer demand by formulating breakthrough ideas through dedicated research and development initiatives. Our advanced facility will be even more conducive to melding creativity and technology as we continue to tap into the Dayton region's heritage of innovation."
Banking on Innovation
The company's new Global Software Center is double the size of the previous location. The Miamisburg location features a state-of-the-art customer product center and an ATM laboratory that is 50 percent larger than the original facility. The enhanced facility enables Nautilus Hyosung to attract even more highly skilled software engineers and network certification specialists and to effectively continue pioneering efforts as an industry leader.
"Nautilus Hyosung is committed to fueling growth for continued success," Daniels said. "The opening of the company's new Global Software Center in a region of the country recognized for driving innovation is a reflection of our investment in long-term strategies, including research and development."
Success Through Collaboration
"Nautilus Hyosung America's decision to expand here in Montgomery County represents confidence in the region's highly skilled workforce and our ability to support technology companies," said Montgomery County Commission President Debbie Lieberman.
BusinessFirst! and Montgomery County worked closely with the company to connect resources designed to assist the company's natural progression to grow here in the Dayton region.
"On behalf of County Commissioners Judy Dodge and Dan Foley, we look forward to a long and successful partnership with Nautilus Hyosung America as the company grows its Global Software Center in Montgomery County," added Commissioner Lieberman.
