CLEVELAND, May 18, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Moving Day® is the National Parkinson Foundation Ohio Chapter's annual fundraising walk/run event. It is a fun and inspiring fundraising event that unites families, friends, and communities both large and small in the fight against Parkinson's disease. This celebration of movement will feature a family friendly walk course, a kids area, a caregivers relaxation tent, and a special Movement Pavilion featuring yoga, dance, Tai Chi, Pilates, etc. all proven to help manage the symptoms of PD.
Someone in the United States is diagnosed with Parkinson's disease every 9 minutes. Here in Ohio it is estimated that there are 30,000-50,000 people. Many more are affected as family members, friends, co-workers, and care partners.
Please join the National Parkinson Foundation Ohio Moving Day® Cleveland, a Walk for Parkinson's taking place on Saturday, June 17, 2017 from 12:30-4 PM at Wade Oval in University Circle.
