Natalie Hairston Joins Dennard - Lascar Associates

HOUSTON, July 24, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Dennard - Lascar Associates, LLC, a leading provider of advanced investor relations counsel and innovative analytical services, today announced that Natalie Hairston has joined the firm as Senior Vice President in its Houston office.  Ms. Hairston will be responsible for investor relations and corporate governance activities for clients.

Ms. Hairston joins Dennard - Lascar Associates from ENGlobal Corporation where she served as Vice President - Investor Relations, Chief Governance Officer and Corporate Secretary.  Prior to joining ENGlobal, Ms. Hairston held similar positions of increasing responsibility at Chaparral Resources, Inc. and Hondo Oil & Gas Company – public exploration and production companies with operations in Kazakhstan and Colombia, respectively.

Ms. Hairston has more than 18 years of investor relations and corporate governance experience.  She has served in varying levels of senior leadership at public companies and as a best practice governance advisor to boards' of directors.  Ms. Hairston's business knowledge coupled with her proven success in creating and implementing investor relations and governance initiatives, includes: internal and external communications, Sarbanes-Oxley oversight, strategic planning, business continuity, regulatory compliance, board and committee meetings, and director recruitment and orientation.  Her professional guidance includes mergers and acquisitions, monitoring and heightening the effectiveness of corporate policies and procedures as well as other strategic and financial transactions for small and mid‑cap companies. 

Ms. Hairston is actively involved in the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI) and the Society of Corporate Secretaries and Governance Professionals (Society).  She was appointed to NIRI's first subject matter expert committee, which was formed to define the roles of investor relations officers as well as to identify skills and necessary training as a precursor to professional certification by the organization.  In addition, she is a member of NIRI's Senior Roundtable (SRT), SRT steering committee appointee and past president of the Houston chapter.  For the Society, she served as the sponsorship chair for several regional conferences and as a board member of the Houston chapter.  Ms. Hairston received undergraduate degrees from the University of Texas at Austin and the American University of Paris, France and holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance.
