Myovant Sciences Announces Upcoming Presentations of Relugolix Data from Phase 2 Trial in Women with Endometriosis-Associated Pain

BASEL, Switzerland, May 18, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Myovant Sciences (NYSE: MYOV), a leading clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on women's health and endocrine diseases, today announced the presentation of data from a Phase 2 trial of relugolix in women with endometriosis-associated pain at two upcoming medical meetings. Twelve-week findings from the trial will be presented during an oral presentation at the 13^th World Congress on Endometriosis (WCE), which is being held May 17-20 in Vancouver, Canada. Twenty-four-week data from an extension of the same trial will be presented during a poster session at the 19^th European Congress of Endocrinology (ECE), which is being held May 20-23 in Lisbon, Portugal. About Endometriosis

Endometriosis is a disease in which tissue that normally lines the uterus is found outside the uterine cavity, commonly in the lower abdomen or pelvis, on ovaries, the bladder, and the colon. This tissue outside the uterus results in chronic inflammation and can cause scarring and adhesions. The symptoms associated with endometriosis include painful periods and chronic pelvic pain, painful ovulation, pain during or after sexual intercourse, heavy bleeding, fatigue, and infertility.
