NEW YORK, April 7, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Mutual of America Life Insurance Company, which specializes in providing retirement products and related services to organizations and their employees, as well as to individuals, announced that John R. Greed has been appointed President, effective March 5, 2015.
Mr. Greed has served as Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer with the Company since December 2007. He will continue to report to Thomas J. Moran, who held the position of President since 1992 and who remains Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.
"John has been an integral member of our senior leadership team for nearly two decades," said Mr. Moran. "He possesses the right combination of experience, expertise and vision to lead and help grow the Company, while always remaining committed to the needs of our customers."

Mr. Greed began his career with Mutual of America in 1996 and shortly thereafter was named Executive Vice President and Treasurer. He is also currently Chairman, President and CEO of both Mutual of America Investment Corporation and Mutual of America Institutional Funds, Inc.
Prior to joining Mutual of America, he was a partner with Arthur Andersen. He currently serves on the Board and Executive Committee of the Greater New York Councils of the Boy Scouts of America.
Replacing Mr. Greed as Chief Financial Officer is Chris W. Festog, who most recently served as Executive Vice President, Assistant Treasurer.
