MSA Security Acquires T&M Protection Resources, LLC Explosive Detection Canine Contracts

NEW YORK, Jan. 30, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- MSA Security (MSA), the largest, private provider of single purpose, single handler explosive detection canine (EDC) services in the United States, entered into an agreement with T&M Protection Resources, LLC (T&M), a global security and investigations firm with headquarters in New York City, to acquire its EDC contracts.

MSA currently deploys over 200 EDC teams globally. The acquisition of T&M's canine assets will not only expand MSA's footprint in New York City, but add resources and capabilities that will complement MSA's industry-best EDC services.

Going forward, MSA and T&M will explore further opportunities to strengthen and expand the security services they each provide around the world to the growing list of leading corporations, organizations and private clients they serve.
