Morgan Pressel Wins Japan LPGA Salonpas Cup
St. Andrews Country Club of Boca Raton Celebrates Resident Touring Professional Success
BOCA RATON, Fla., May 14 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- St. Andrews Country Club congratulates Morgan Pressel, Resident Touring Professional, on winning the Japan LPGA Tour's Salonpas Cup event at Ibaraki Golf Club in Tsukubamirai on May 9. This win marks her third title as a professional and her first international victory. She shot 9-under par to win in Japan and moved up in the Rolex Rankings to Number 17 in the world.

Pressel returned to the U.S. this week to join her fellow LPGA players in the Bell Micro Classic at Magnolia Grove in Mobile, AL. Her first LPGA title came at the Kraft Nabisco in 2007 and her second at the Kapalua LPGA Classic in '08. Morgan Pressel is the youngest LPGA professional ever to win a "major championship" at the Kraft Nabisco.
