More Than 90 ClubCorp Clubs to Mark Memorial Day With Support of PGA of America-Inspired Veteran Programs
DALLAS, May 26 /PRNewswire/ -- ClubCorp, The World Leader in Private Clubs, announces that more than 90 of its golf and country clubs throughout the Memorial Day weekend will offer players the opportunity to make a difference in support of America's veterans.
Funds raised throughout the weekend will be donated to two of The PGA of America's-inspired military support programs – the GIVE (Golf for Injured Veterans Everywhere) Foundation, designed to train men and women veterans in the fundamentals of golf and to enhance their mental, social, physical and emotional well-being and improve their quality of life, and the Salute Military Golf Association (SMGA), which provides recreational therapy, through the game of golf, to combat-wounded American soldiers injured in Iraq or Afghanistan.
