Mobility is Medicine Hosts First Webinar, Announces August 20 Workshop at Cedars-Sinai Hospital

LOS ANGELES, July 16, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Mobility is Medicine (MiM) is pleased to announce its successful first MiM Safe Patient Handling and Mobility (SPHM) webinar. The webinar was supported by major SPHM industry partners, including the Hospital Council of Northern and Central California, the Hospital Association of Southern California, the Tampa VA Center of Innovation on Disability & Rehabilitation Research (CINDRR), Safety National, and Cedars-Sinai Hospital.

More than 200 webinar attendees joined Gail Powell-Cope, Guy Fragala, Alleen Wilson, and Danielle Gabele, for a discussion of the past, present, and future of the safe patient handling and mobility industry. MiM has also announced the first Mobility is Medicine Workshop, at Cedars-Sinai Hospital, on August 20 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., PDT. The workshop will bring together top thought leaders in SPHM to address the topic of "Worker Safety and Safe Patient Handling and Mobility Excellence."
