MobileMD and Main Line Health Ink Five-Year Contract Extension

YARDLEY, Pa., June 28, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- MobileMD, Inc., announced today a five-year contract extension between Main Line Health (MLH), Bryn Mawr, Pa., and MobileMD for its 4D Health Information Exchange (HIE) service.

MobileMD supplies a cloud-based 4D HIE solution to MLH that connects healthcare providers and enables a robust, secure clinical dialog across inpatient, primary care, and specialty physicians in MLH's suburban Philadelphia market.

Four hospitals and more than 30 practices are connected to MLH through MobileMD today.  Most of MLH's participating practices have connected their ambulatory EMRs directly to the HIE to achieve a virtual complete medical record without disrupting clinical workflows or requiring significant investment.
