MobileBehavior Joins Tribal DDB Network
Agency Aligns With Veteran Mobile Experts to Establish North American Mobile Center of Excellence
NEW YORK, Sept. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Leading agency Tribal DDB Worldwide, has aligned with Omnicom Group Inc.'s (NYSE: OMC) mobile marketing consultancy MobileBehavior. The alignment marks the launch of a new center of excellence for Tribal DDB Worldwide in North America to serve clients' growing need to seamlessly incorporate mobile communications into their overall marketing and media mix.
MobileBehavior is a global mobile insights and marketing consultancy that has done work for brands including AT&T, HP, Aviva and Gatorade. As part of Tribal DDB, the mobile unit will work with brands to engage consumers anytime and anywhere. MobileBehavior will leverage deep insights into today's consumers to recommend, measure and ensure consumer participation in mobile marketing efforts. Based in New York, MobileBehavior will report to Tribal DDB U.S. Co-President Richard Guest.
"Mobile opportunities in North America are exploding with the escalating uptake of smart phones and mobile broadband," said Guest. "We're moving toward a more mainstream mobile services audience and believe that now is the right time to materially add to our mobile expertise here in the U.S. More and more clients are integrating mobile into their overall approach rather than launching small, segregated mobile initiatives, and we're expecting brands to continue to take more of an interest in building a mobile strategy and executing mobile applications, mobile websites, mobile advertising, location-based solutions, mobile TV, and mCommerce."
MobileBehavior founder & President Alan Rambam, a widely recognized expert and thought leader in mobile marketing, will continue to lead the unit. "Mobile technology sits at the center of consumer life today, transforming behavior, commerce, retail, and socialization," said Rambam, who takes on the additional role of Chief Mobile Officer of Tribal DDB. "Our process starts with a deep analysis of mobile, and real-life behaviors, ensuring that the insights, time and place strategies, real-time activations, and analytics we offer are useful and engaging for consumers. We also look forward to working with Tribal DDB to extend our GMT Insights Platform to include education on the latest trends in mobile technology and consumer behavior, as well as ideas, background on emerging platforms, and opportunities to ensure the scale that brands require to solve business needs today."
