ROANOKE, Va., Aug. 3, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Miss Georgia International, Amanda Moreno, 23, of Atlanta, Georgia, was crowned Miss International 2016, Saturday, July 30 at the Annual Miss International Pageant held in Jacksonville, Fla. "I have several goals this year and they all circle back to empowering young women and making a difference through the opportunities I'm presented with," said Moreno. "This year of service is not about me, it's about changing the definition of beauty one young woman at a time. I hope that my year is marked by service, leadership, humility and approachability."
Moreno has several global trips scheduled to support True Beauty Movement's work around the world, including educational workshops for youth in Kenya, Rwanda and South Africa.
