Millennium Pipeline Names New President
PEARL RIVER, N.Y., May 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Millennium Pipeline Company, L.L.C. announced today that Joseph P. Shields has been named president of the company, effective June 1, 2010. He replaces Richard H. Leehr who has served as company president since 2005.

Mr. Shields comes to Millennium from New Jersey Resources (NJR), where he served as executive vice president and chief operating officer of NJR Energy Services business unit. There, he was responsible for natural gas supply acquisitions, negotiating transportation agreements and the development of NJR Energy Services from its inception to its current standing as a successful energy marketing company operating throughout the United States and Canada.

Mr. Shields holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Stockton State College and has recently completed the Changing the Game: Negotiation and Competitive Decision Making program at Harvard Business School. Mr. Shields also serves on the Advisory Board for the School of Business at Montclair University.
Millennium Pipeline is a New York-based interstate natural gas pipeline serving the Northeast. Millennium is anchored by its customers National Grid, Consolidated Edison of New York, Central Hudson Gas and Electric Corporation and Columbia Gas Transmission L.L.C.
