Michael Burgess Joins Carousel Industries

EXETER, R.I., June 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Michael Burgess has joined Carousel Industries as the Director of Pre-Sales Engineering.  In his new role at Carousel, Michael will be responsible for the management and methodology for our pre-sales convergence and application engineers.  "Carousel has had continued growth in the convergence and application space," stated James Marsh, Vice President of Sales. Michael has spent the last 15 years of his career working and leading technical Systems Engineering teams in the networking and security industries. Prior to coming to Carousel, Michael has worked for such companies as Anixter, SBC, Extreme Networks, Netscreen, Juniper, Force10 and most recently Fortinet.  While at Juniper and Force10 Mr. Burgess was instrumental in building and developing the Northeast region.  His technical expertise is primarily with switching, routing and security (Firewall, IPS, UTM, etc) accompanied with strong business acumen and professional leadership skills.  Mr. Burgess is a U.S. Air Force veteran and holds a Masters Degree in Management from Cambridge College.
