Leader in email infrastructure software updates its Momentum platform with enhanced APIs, improved security and global delivery improvements
COLUMBIA, Md., Sept. 30, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Message Systems, the global leader in email infrastructure software for cloud-based businesses and large enterprises, today announced the latest version of its high-performance, cross-channel messaging platform, Momentum 4.1. The updated version offers new capabilities to help users better manage emails through powerful APIs, improved security and globalized sending capabilities.
The latest version of Momentum features enhanced message generation and list management APIs, providing users greater flexibility and simplicity in the triggering and creation of multipart messages. Additionally, Momentum improves access to data generated during the course of messaging operations through either the use of webhooks or a new Metrics API. These powerful APIs allow senders to create, deliver and analyze messages more quickly and then iterate based on the results. Momentum's interface has also been updated, allowing for easier, centralized management of multipart and multichannel templates.
Momentum 4.1 also includes enhanced support for the Transport Layer Security protocol (TLS). TLS has been a major initiative among the world's largest ISPs and receiving domains.TLS encryption ensures compliance with industry standards and improved brand protection for Momentum customers by securing emails during transport. Moreover, Momentum 4.1 provides SMTPUTF8 support, the email address internationalization extension to the SMTP protocol, allowing emails to be sent to new, non-western addressed recipients. SMTPUTF8 allows for Unicode characters encoded in UTF-8 and outside the ASCII repertoire in mail header fields, giving senders far greater capabilities to reach recipients internationally.
"The Momentum platform now provides a full set of tools that enable senders to reach recipients anywhere in the world, in accordance with new standards and with greater operational ease," said Phillip Merrick, chief executive officer at Message Systems. "With the new features in Momentum 4.1, customers will be able to streamline the message creation and data analysis necessary to improve engagement, all while securing their brand and expanding their global footprint. We're not only keeping pace with the industry and providing the most flexible API-driven architecture, we're innovating how people connect through evolving standards and technology."
"We are excited to see the new features Message Systems has added to its Momentum platform," says Jack Hogan, co-founder and CTO at Lifescript, the leading health and lifestyle portal for women. "The ability to quickly generate and send multi-part messages through APIs will help us achieve faster delivery of targeted emails, with relevant content that will engage our users."
Momentum 4.1 will be available on October 6th, with several licensing options based on channel selections and message volumes. Visit the Message Systems website for more information.
