Merrell Work Joins Forces With Team Rubicon

ROCKFORD, Mich., May 25, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Merrell, the outdoor performance brand is excited to announce their new partnership with Team Rubicon, the nonprofit organization that unites the skills and experiences of military veterans with first responders to rapidly deploy emergency response teams.

Merrell will be outfitting Team Rubicon leaders and core volunteer staff with boots from their new Work line. This new Work line from Merrell is built with the brand's established franchises, representing a range of men's and women's safety toe boots ready to perform and protect in tough, outdoor disaster environments.

U.S. Marine Corps veterans Jake Wood and William McNulty founded the nonprofit in 2010 following the massive Haiti earthquake. It has grown from eight to over 45,000 volunteers with 185 operations under its belt, including Superstorm Sandy, Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines, and Hurricane Matthew.
