Meizu Introduces New M3 MAX Smartphone with Upgraded Battery, Large Screen and Storage, and Flyme Business Functions
BEIJING, Sept. 5, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Leading consumer electronics company Meizu introduced its M3 MAX smartphone at a product launch event in Beijing on September 5.
Designed for young business elites, key features of M3 MAX are:
- Large screen: 6-inch Full HD Display
- Powerful battery: 4100mAh and 24W fast charging
- Large storage: 3G RAM, 64G ROM and 128G TF extension card
- Flyme business functions: fingerprint encryption, call note, multi-window mode and guest mode
Meizu M3 MAX features a 6-inch LTPS (Low Temperature Poly-silicon) 2.5D touch screen with 1080p resolution. The LTPS technology has advantages of low power consumption, quick response time, high luminance and high aperture opening ration. And an eye protection mode is developed to make nighttime reading more comfortable.
M3 MAX is also powered with a 4100mAn (typ.) battery and mCharge fast charging technology. With the upgraded 24W charging power, M3 MAX can be charged to 45% capacity in about half an hour. The mCharge technology can also automatically regulate the charging state according to body temperature, battery voltage, usage scenario and other data to ensure safe and fast charging. After a 5-hour endurance test, M3 MAX still has 57% battery left.
M3 MAX is equipped with 3GB RAM and 64GB ROM. Large internal memory can effectively deal with multi-task processing and make switching more smoothly. The standard 64GB eMMC 5.1 flash memory can store more movies, music and photos. It can also greatly reduce the loading time of application data and smooth the system operation.
The fingerprint payment function of M3 MAX fully supports Alipay and WeChat, which are two leading Chinese online payment platforms and expanding on a global scale. Customers are able to use fingerprints to transfer money, avoiding the tedious operation of inputting the password. Meanwhile, the cipher code is stored in an encrypted safe storage area and bound up with the cell phone processor. Even violent dismantling cannot read the encrypted data, thus providing chip-level protection. The guest mode of M3 MAX allows users to quickly switch to a separate guest profile that doesn't have any personal data. This provides a particularly effective way of letting someone else use the phone for a while. The multi-window mode is a neat feature that enables multiple activities on screen at the same time.
M3 MAX also comes with an 8-core 64-bit processor clocked at 1.8GHz and ARM's 64-bit flagship GPU Mali-T860. Its fingerprint recognition algorithm unlocks the device in just 0.2 seconds and the excellent abrasion resistance of the surface material ensures touch time exceeding 10 million. Its 13MP rear camera uses the SONY IMX258 sensor, PDAF phase focusing and 0.2S ultra-speed focusing, while the front camera utilizes a combination of a 5MP sensor, FotoNation 2.0 smart beauty technology and Face Auto-Exposure Enhancement algorithm.
"In August, we released M3E for young professionals. It offered an option for customers who seek a highly advanced yet affordable device and received positive comments from both media and customers. In order to satisfy more customers, we introduce M3 MAX," said Li Nan, VP of Meizu, "Now with its powerful features, we are confident that M3 MAX will be well received by customers."
The M3 MAX is available in gray, silver, gold, rose gold and blue with published price of $255 for 3GB RAM, 64GB ROM configuration. For more testing information, please visit: http://t.cn/RcyWJcW.
