Meijer Offers Black Friday in July and Summer Cyber Week Deals Online

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., July 10, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Meijer once again will host Black Friday in July and Summer Cyber Week sales on Meijer.com, offering customers deep holiday-like discounts in the midst of summer. Meijer Black Friday in July kicks off at midnight on Thursday, July 11, for one day only with Summer Cyber Week sales continuing through July 20, announced Liwanag Ojala, vice president of e-commerce for the Grand Rapids, Mich.-based retailer.

The 2013 summer sales event marks the second year Meijer has offered exclusive holiday-style online deals in what now has become a standard season for the e-commerce industry.

Meijer Black Friday in July and Summer Cyber Week events will offer discounts up to 50 percent off on select furniture, home, sporting goods, and outdoor living items. Examples include Dylan Convertible Sofa/Futons for $159.99 (regular price $229), Callaway 3-Seat Swings for $119.99 (regular price $169), Sevylor 1-Person Pointer Inflatable Kayak Combos for 194.99 (regular price $269.99), and 20-Inch Airwalk Spector BMX Bicycles for $94.99 (regular price $179.99).
