NEW YORK, July 25, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Media iQ, the leading global analytics and technology company, today announced the appointment of Rebecca Mahony as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). Media iQ also announced the relocation of Paul Silver to New York from its London headquarters.
Silver will continue to serve as the company's Chief Operating Officer and drive Media iQ's product, technology and R&D efforts globally. His relocation will help keep the product and tech teams across London and India in alignment with the company's efforts in North America. He will also help commercial teams in the US form more strategic partnerships with Media iQ's largest clients.
Mahony will oversee all of Media iQ's global marketing initiatives, developing and implementing a global marketing strategy to increase brand awareness and build a marketing community within Media iQ. In addition to joining the company's board as the first female board member, Mahony will serve as a board sponsor for WiQ - a Media IQ initiative that empowers women and promotes diversity in the workplace.
"I am thrilled to welcome Rebecca to the company," said Richard Dunmall, president of Media iQ. "She has a proven track record of creating game-changing marketing programs and has delivered excellent results for some of the biggest brands in the world. Her vision for our marketing and communications will be vital to our continued growth."
Mahony most recently served as the CMO for Teads, where she was responsible for marketing and communication initiatives across EMEA, the Americas, and APAC.
''I'm incredibly proud to be joining Media iQ and to lead an excellent marketing and communications team," said Mahony. "This organization is committed to bringing value to global clients in truly innovative ways, and I look forward to playing my part in the next successful chapter for the company."
Among her many achievements, Mahony launched the industry-first 'Outstream Video Summit,' which attracted some of the industry's most influential leaders. The New York Business Journal listed her as one of the 2015 Women of Influence, and she was awarded the 2015 New York Smart CEO Executive Management Award for Marketing.
Most recent, she was awarded a Bronze Stevie in 2016 for Female Executive of the Year – Business Products and Woman of the Year.
Prior to her role at Teads, Mahony held diverse roles in marketing and communications, including Digital Director at OMD International and Head of Digital Marketing at NetJets.
