MCMC LLC Announces Acquisition of Patriot Risk Management, Inc.'s Managed Care Service Business

BOSTON, June 24, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- MCMC LLC ("MCMC") is excited to announce the acquisition of Patriot Risk Management, Inc.'s ("PRMI") managed care service business resulting from a partnership dating back to 2006.

Over 5 years ago, MCMC began providing a Bill Review and PPO network processing solution for PRMI, which evolved into a full service care management program including case management, panel management, and strategic network development.

The PRMI care management program has resulted in increased network penetration, enhanced medical savings, and improved claims outcomes for Patriot National Insurance Group.

MCMC will be acquiring and running the managed care service program as Managed Care Risk Services ("MCRS"), a division of MCMC. MCRS will continue to be led by Tim Ermatinger, as Executive Vice President, establishing continuity for clients and allowing for a seamless business integration.

This division will be dedicated to handling bundled workers' compensation programs, offering an integrated service platform for carriers, employers and TPA's.
