DALLAS, March 29 /PRNewswire/ -- For the second year in a row, the law firm of McKool Smith won more of the country's Top 100 Verdicts than any other law firm in the United States.
McKool Smith helped clients secure four of the country's Top 100 Verdicts during 2009, according to a recent report published in The National Law Journal. - City of San Antonio v. Hotels.com, et al. – Led by firm principals Gary Cruciani, Tom Graves, Steve Wolens, and Rosemary Snider, McKool Smith won a $20 million jury verdict for the city of San Antonio and more than 170 Texas cities in class-action lawsuit over unpaid hotel occupancy taxes.
- OPTi Inc. v. Apple Inc. – Led by firm principals Carol Butner and Rosemary Snider, and co-counsel Michael Brody and Taras Gracey, partners at Winston & Strawn, the team won a $19 million patent infringement verdict on behalf of Palo Alto, Calif., technology provider OPTi Inc. against Apple Inc.
