Maven Launches Unlimited Subscription Service for College Women

NEW YORK, Sept. 7, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Maven, the first digital clinic for women, has launched a subscription service specifically for college women. The nationwide subscription, called Maven Campus, allows young women to make unlimited same-day video appointments with medical providers including OB/GYNs, nurse practitioners, mental health providers, and other specialists for advice, diagnoses, and even prescriptions. Students will also have the ability to send and receive unlimited private text messages with practitioners. Additionally, they will have access to ask anonymous questions and read answers from practitioners on Maven's forums about college health issues.

The Maven Campus subscription will have two different payment plans: A $45 per month option, with the ability to cancel at any time, or a $300 per year option (the latter of which equates to a significant savings of just $25 a month). Both choices grant the same unlimited access to Maven's nationwide network of carefully vetted practitioners. Only 35% of practitioners that apply ultimately get accepted to the platform, and Maven providers collectively have a 4.9 out of a 5 star rating.

• According to a 2012 National Alliance on Mental Illness study, many students have to wait more than 5 days to receive care from on-campus providers.
• 1 in 4 college students have an STD, according to Stanford University's Sexual Health Peer Resource Center.
• A survey by the Association of American Universities found that 1 in 4 women experience sexual assault on campus.
