The Magellan MiVue 420 features lane departure and collision avoidance warnings, ultra high definition recording, and a wide angle lens that increases driver peace of mind and safety.

LAS VEGAS, Dec. 29, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Magellan expands its lineup of MiVue DashCam devices at CES 2016. With four new affordable DashCam devices, consumers will always be prepared to record scenic travels, those unexpected moments and the unfortunate traffic incident. The new models are: MiVue 320, MiVue 420, MiVue 430 and MiVue 450D. The units will be displayed at CES 2016 in the Magellan Booth, LVCC South Hall MP25441.

Every new MiVue DashCam for 2016 brings a host of features to drivers including:

MiVue Manager – Intuitive interface allows you to browse recorded videos. Video recorded from the Impact Sensor can be reviewed for post-accident analysis. Video may be shared on social media sites like YouTube™ & Facebook®.
Parking Mode – In situations where there's an impact while the car is parked, the DashCam wakes up to record the event. You can even choose to have the device always recording with vehicles that have constant power supplies.
Impact Sensor – Records impact forces, which show the direction and magnitude of a collision.
Night View Enhancement – Automatic day/night light adjustment assuring the best picture quality regardless of lighting conditions.
Impact Event Recording – When the 3-axis sensor detects sudden changes in motion, the device instantly saves protected files to prevent them from being overwritten.
Camera Mode – Switch to Camera Mode to collect photo evidence or create lasting memories. With the built-in battery, the device can be taken out of the car to get close-up photos.
Rotating Mount Design – Mount easily pivots to any desired angle assuring you never miss an important moment.
GPS Tracking – The built-in, high-sensitivity GPS receiver automatically records your driving information on the video, so you have both a location and time stamp during playback.
Wide Angle Lens – The 140° wide-angle lens provides an enhanced peripheral view to record the entire street.

MiVue 450D
The MiVue 450D takes DashCam's to a new level of functionality with:

Dual Cameras – Includes two cameras to assure every important event is recorded.
2.7 Inch Screen (16:9) – Larger than competitors for enhanced viewing, ease-of-use and safety.
1440p Ultra High Definition Recording – With a maximum aperture of f/2.0, the MiVue 450D provides some of the sharpest night view images available.
Bottom Camera Rotates 330 Degrees – Allows drivers to select what they want to monitor, such as kids in the back seat, driver or passenger interactions, or events outside the vehicle.
Wide Angle Lenses – Two 120° lenses provide a full 240° view to capture a more expansive peripheral view at critical moments.
Integrated Wi-Fi– Easily send your videos to your smartphone for back up.

MiVue 430
In addition to all of the common features above, the MiVue 430 also includes the following.

Lane Departure – Audio alert and icon (left or right) appears when departing to the left or right of the current lane. Driver can adjust sensitivity.
Front Collision Avoidance – Audio alert and icon appears when traffic facing camera detects that the driver is getting too close to the car ahead. Driver can adjust distance for alert.
Full 1080p SONY High Definition Camera – With a maximum aperture of f/1.8, the MiVue 430 provides some of the sharpest night view images available.
