Lone Star College and McCord Development announce new Process Technology Center at Generation Park

HOUSTON, July 28, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Lone Star College has acquired 8.3 acres in Generation Park to build an approximately 50,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art Process Technology Center. As a reflection of McCord Development's commitment to the College's mission of developing the skilled workers of tomorrow today, the Company donated 2.3 acres to the College.

Generation Park is a 4,000-acre master planned mixed-use enterprise development in Houston, Texas.

"This Process Technology Center will prepare students with the critical skills that are in high demand from the world's leading oil and gas companies."

After Lone Star College successfully passed their $485 million bond package in November 2014, the College looked to McCord Development to find the ideal location at Generation Park.
