Lockheed Martin Joins National Cyber Security Alliance (NCSA) Board
Charles Croom, Vice President of Cyber Security Solutions at Lockheed Martin, Takes Seat on NCSA Board of Directors
WASHINGTON, March 31 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The National Cyber Security Alliance (NCSA) today announced that Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) has joined the nonprofit organization's board of directors. Charles Croom, Vice President of Cyber Security Solutions at Lockheed Martin Information Systems & Global Services, will represent the company on the NCSA board.
NCSA is a non-profit, public-private partnership dedicated to cybersecurity awareness and public education. It brings together government, corporate, non-profit, and academic organizations to work toward empowering a digital citizenry on how they can stay safe and secure online at home, work and school.
Lockheed Martin, one of the world's largest global security and information technology companies, joins NCSA's growing and diverse board, which includes members from AT&T, ADP, Cisco, EMC, Google, McAfee, Microsoft, SAIC and Symantec.

At Lockheed Martin, Croom leads the company's cybersecurity strategy, drawing from his 35 years of experience in distinguished service, leadership and technology management in the U.S. Air Force. Prior to joining Lockheed Martin in October 2008, Croom was a U.S. Air Force Lieutenant General as well as the Director of the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), and the Commander of the Joint Task Force for Global Network Operations.
At DISA, he led a worldwide organization of more than 6,600 military and civilian personnel to serve the information technology and telecommunication needs of the President of the United States, U.S. Secretary of Defense, U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff, and other key government stakeholders. Croom is now retired from the military.
