Local 223 Utility Workers Union of America (UWUA) Ratifies Agreement with DTE Energy
DEARBORN, Mich., July 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Local 223 Utility Workers Union of America (UWUA) today announced its members ratified a new three-year agreement with DTE Energy covering Trades, OPT and Gas members.
"Local 223's Bargaining Committee extends a huge thank you to our members for all of your support and solidarity that was shown over the past several months during negotiations and into ratification of this new agreement," said Jim Harrison, Local 223 UWUA President. They are employed as skilled trades, power plant operators, electric and gas field service workers, meter readers, electric and gas distribution workers, customer service representatives and clerical workers, electrical line workers, technical workers and business and office workers.
