LMU's School of Education Jumps Nine Spots in U.S. News Rankings
LOS ANGELES, Mar. 12, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Loyola Marymount University's School of Education was again among the top-ranked schools in U.S. News & World Report's latest edition of "Best Graduate Schools." SOE shares No. 74 out of the 278 graduate schools surveyed – an increase of nine places over last year.
In the past three years SOE has jumped 57 places in the rankings and is the fourth-highest ranked Jesuit institution in the country and the ninth-ranked school of education in California.
"Our continued rise in the U.S. News survey is a testament to the impact our students, faculty, staff and alumni have on Los Angeles, the state and the national education community," said Shane P.
