Liko Smith Teams Up with Producer and Medal Of Honor Winner E'lan Frank To Create "The RoK Reality Series" at The Sugar Loaf Resort, Michigan
TRAVERSE CITY, Mich., Nov. 12, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Liko Smith, the owner of the 560 acre Sugar Loaf Resort has joined forces with producer E'lan Frank of E'lan Productions to create "The RoK Reality Series". Liko Smith was formerly Executive Producer and Star of THE BLOCK, a reality series which ran for two full seasons on the G4 Network.
The RoK Reality Series follows the snowboarders of the grueling RoK boot camp (less than 50% graduate), the designers of the infamous RoK terrain park, and the opening of what will become The RoK at Sugar Loaf, "The Worlds First Snowboarders Mecca". The pair will be shopping the show with several networks.
E'lan Frank, a Major (ret) in the Israeli Air Force Reserve; was awarded The Medal of Honor for bravery in combat. Since his departure from the military he has become one of the most adventurous producers in television.
Mr. Frank has produced such shows such as "Angels in the Sky- Birth of Israel" (Independent features production), "Elite Choppers: Birds of Prey," " Cheating Death-Rescue Helicopters," Lockup Abroad-Israel and more. The Sugar Loaf Resort at 4500 Sugar Loaf Mountain Road, near Traverse City, Michigan has been closed since 2000. The property consists of a 6-Lift Ski Mountain, a 144,000 sq. ft.
