LIG Assets Hires Executive Chef for Its Entertainment Management, Inc. Entity
DALLAS, Sept. 21, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- LIG Assets, Inc. (OTC: LIGA) announced today the addition of Michael Dimas as the Executive Chef for LIG Entertainment Management, Inc. Mr. Dimas brings with him almost 20 years of experience in the fine dining arena with successes in Santa Barbara, California, Santa Fe, New Mexico and the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and strength in the catering and hotel/ special event as well. LIG's first fine dining-lounge concept, Aquadora, is located in the prestigious Galleria area of Dallas.
Chef Dimas stated, "The cuisine will draw from a wide variety of my experiences," says Chef Dimas, "complex and exotic flavor combinations will have a place on the menu next to the comfortable favorites we have always enjoyed. It is a goal of mine to offer an exciting, high quality dining experience that can enjoyed over and over or let our allow our customers to break out and try something new.
"I want Aquadora's wine list to work together with my dishes to enhance the dining experience. Too many restaurants see wine as a profit center, I want it to be a flavor center. In designing the menu, there will be plenty of information to make wine choices clear and pairing with food easy. Also, our managers and wait staff will have plenty of training and experience with the wines we offer and how they taste with what we serve. Savoring wine with food is a joy we want our diners to experience; all of us have that as a goal."
The fine dining restaurant opens for lunch and dinner with downstairs bar service from 11 am to 10pm. After 10 pm, the upstairs lounge opens with its own bar featuring exotic cocktails, bottle service and a DJ. Screens upstairs and down light up with video and art to go with the music. The late night menu featuring a seafood bar, tapas and flavorful small plates is available until 2 am.
The facility is over 5,000 square feet and it is perfect for any party, small or large. Aquadora can create 4 to 6 separate spaces to accommodate up to 300 people at any one time. The kitchen has a great capacity to handle high demand at the peak times so every diner's food is to their expectations and served as expected. Party reservations and catering requests are always welcome. Dimas expects to be busy all year serving fresh, appealing food that reflects the season, and the local produce available.
