"The 2010 show was our highest attended show in many years with our opening day receiving more visitors than the entire three days of last year's show," said Liz Crawford, show director with Advanstar Communications. "We were thrilled with the quality of attendees, the quantity of key retailers and international visitors to the show. Customer feedback has been overwhelmingly positive."
Many exhibitors had a successful show and have already reserved space for the 2011 show. "The entire team at Warner Bros Consumer Products could not be happier with this year's show," said Karen McTier, executive vice president of domestic licensing and worldwide marketing for Warner Bros Consumer Products. "Traffic and attendance were non-stop at the Warner Bros booth, including both U.S. and international licensees and partners."
"Licensing International Expo completely surpassed our best expectations this year. Having the licensing community together in one place 24/7 for three days was a great advantage, allowing us to carry out several immersive and targeted marketing opportunities. We consider Licensing International Expo the cornerstone of our trade marketing strategy and already look forward to next year," says Tom Keefer, SVP Global Licensing, Global Licensed Consumer Products, BBC Worldwide.
The Licensing International Expo received international press coverage from top trade, business and consumer press. The show also broadcasted live interviews from the show floor as well as footage from around the event from the Licensing International Expo's Media Stream Center.
"The proof is in the numbers," continued Crawford. "With the increased attendance and quality, our show floor is already booking briskly with 75% of the floor already sold out for next year!" Licensing International Expo 2011 will take place June 14-16 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.
